ACF PRO 5.6.8 Update

This version contains some much needed bug fixes and improvements including PHP 7.2 compatibility!

After spending the past month underground writing exciting new JavaScript (for the soon to be announced ACF 5.7.0), we are happy to release our first plugin update for the year! Although minor, this update contains some much needed bug fixes and improvements!

Available for both free and PRO

This update is also available for the free version of ACF via our Early Access feature! ACF 5 is compatible with all premium add-ons and will be officially released mid 2018. If possible, please enable Early Access on your websites and update to ACF 5 and let us know about your update experience!

  • Fixed bug when using double click in chrome to highlight field name would highlight entire row
  • Added new experimental filters for 3rd party value customization: “acf/pre_load_reference”, “acf/pre_load_value” and “acf/pre_update_value”
  • Prevent potential PHP error when loading .json files from a folder without correct permissions
  • Changed setting “dir” to “url” allowing for backwards compatibility
